The BRIEF
The Charter was facing booking and lead generation issues, and their frustrations were growing. After using various agencies to help gain bookings and capitalise over the Spring and Summer period with no success, Millennium Communications was acquired to assist in meeting their goals. We established Google AdWords, Facebook advertising, social media management and PR was going to help meet their goals, so we commenced over a 6 month period.
Within their first 30 days with Millennium Communications, we generated close to 30 leads and closed $43,000 in bookings for the vessel. We had a conversion rate of 2:3 for every lead that came through, which was the highest they had seen for this particular company. On average, per month we generated between 50-60 leads by combining social media and Google AdWords marketing.
Whilst digital advertising did play a huge part in their success, it was also crucial to include an element of brand awareness through media exposure, to ensure that The Charter was kept front of mind during their time. By partnering with celebrities, media outlets and businesses, we found that The Charter was one of the most well-known boats during the summer of 2019/2020.
To also keep momentum, we included a once of Raft Up party, to generate some more hype through the media, which included exposure through The Daily Telegraph, Daily Mail, Pedestrian TV and much more. We also worked with Jules and Cameron (Married at First Sight success couple) for a TV special program on their wedding nuptials, which was aired across A Current Affair for a week. The Charter was also featured across KISS Kyle and Jackie O Show three times, Amanda and Jonesy and much more.
